Location: Murphy, TX | Ack! I broke off my exhaust pipe yesterday when I was backing my trailer. My trailer is low to the ground anyway. My generator is mounted in the tack area at the back of the trailer and the exhaust runs out the floor of the trailer. The pipe stuck through the floor and vented out the back. Any suggestions for how to fix it? Can I use a flexible tube instead of another metal exhaust pipe? If I put it back the way it was, it will probably just get knocked off again. Thanks for any suggestions!!!!! |

Location: Western WA | Could you turn the exhaust pipe once it exits the trailer floor to vent to the side instead of straight out the back? |

Location: Arkansas | Ours, also in the rear tack, goes down through the floor and then out to the right side, solid pipe, but you should be able to do that with flexible pipe, as well...... |

Location: Murphy, TX | Thanks. I am going to try to bend it so it will go out the side. |

Location: Mena, AR | horsemom3 - you have a Cimarron, right? My exhaust pipe comes out the low side wall on my trailer. I'm talking about the trim at the bottom of the trailer. There is a hole drilled through the metal. So the exhaust pipe never drops below the frame of the trailer. You can drill this hole with a drill and a round bit that is the correct size for your pipe. -Betty |

Location: Murphy, TX | Thanks and yes I have a Cimarron. That would be great if I could get mine to do that! I will look at it and see. |
