Does anyone know anything about raising the floor of a trailer. I have met several people who have done this to gain more road clearance to avoid bottoming out the waste tanks. Now that I am thinking of doing this I am wondering if it is feasible and how to do it. It would also solve the problem of the bed being too tall for the trailer on a truck I am looking at.

I had my trailer raised by a trailer shop. I bought a new truck and the trailer was too slanted for the horses to be comfortable on long trailer rides. They welded in blocks to raise it, but I don't know the specifics of how they did that. Sorry.

I did just that for going "off road" and love it.  Mine is up 4" on blocks.  I also had skid plates added to protect the tanks.

Most trailer manuf. will raise a trailer.  The term they use is blocking.  Just high how depend on the circumstances.
