Is it possible, I know anything is possible, to add DDW's to a stock trailer? It may seem like a dumb question but when we bought our trailer, I was very 'new' to trailers and did not think to order the trailer with DDW's. So, two years later and several trips down the road, I was wondering if it can be done. I know where to get the windows. My husband can grind out the slats and put them in but do you think it is worth the time/effort. I am sure a trailer dealer can add them...but for a hefty $$$$. Has anyone done this?

I have a '05 CM Dakota II 2 horse slant if that helps.

Thanks,

Yes, with some brands of trailers there is a drop down window insert.   Check with the trailer manuf. to see if they offer one.

Some CM Dakota's come with drop down windows.  I don't think it would be too big of a problem.  If you call CM, they should be able to tell you what parts you need.
