Wow!!  Just got back from riding in Palo Duro Canyon.  Now that's a Trail Ride!  It has something for everyone. Easy trails or  You'd better be Ready trails.   Just don't get lost.  Can't wait to go again.

I was there in November, probably the better time of year as far as the temps. A group of us went. We spent a few days at Caprock Canyon, to the southeast of Palo Duro, and a few days at Palo Duro. Really enjoyed it too. Were the turkeys still there? One jumped in the back of my trailer the morning I was getting ready to leave. Had three coyotes sitting about 30 feet from my trailer one morning too and I couldn't find my camera fast enought.

We seen wild turkey's and some lizards. heard a rattle snake warning us, so we left.  Only seen one coyote.  The weather was perfect when I was there.  We even seen the Indian Carvings on the wall.
