I had a small tear in the rubber mat on the inside wall of my trailer. I bought a new mat and brought the trailer to Lewis Trailer Sales in Slidell, La. for them to replace it which they told me it would take a few days. After a week, I called and was told my trailer was ready. The repair was awful. Instead of a small tear, I now had the aluminum exposed the whole length of the bottom of my trailer. They did not measure the mat. Tacked it up and cut the bottom off, plus the mat was not put on smooth, it was buckled up. They reluctantly agreed to buy another mat and replace it again. Two more weeks went by and I was told the trailer was ready. It was the same. They didn't order the mat like I was told. I asked for them to reimburse me $120 for the cost of the mat they ruined and they refused. Stay clear of Lewis Trailer Sales in Slidell, La. for repairs and purchasing a new trailer. I would hate to buy a new trailer and have to bring it in to them for waranty work. .
