Anyone ever install/build their own walk-thru door from the dressing room to the horse compartment?  Do you have to buy a door, or could you make one out of the material you cut?  The trailer is aluminum, which I know is harder to work with.  I'm looking to expand my DR space, and perhaps install a cowboy shower.  Thanks!!

Thank you, thank you, thank you, Yippee!  I THOUGHT I saw something on this site for build-it-yourself door.  Your's was the one I was thinking of.  Was your trailer double-walled between the DR and horse compartment?  Mine isn't so that might be a problem.  Thanks again!

Looks nice.  I missed that post.  You used the cut out for half the door frame cover, but what did you use for the other side?  I'm gonna have to save those pictures for future reference.

"Was your trailer double-walled between the DR and horse compartment?"

Yes it is.  We will eventualy put fir strips, insulation, and paneling.

"You used the cut out for half the door frame cover, but what did you use for the other side?"

Both side are from the walls in the trailer.  I did not take a picture before we cut the first side.  We pop rivited them on to the frame and then took a air power cut off well to remove the extra followed with a grinder to smooth everything.
