I, I am looking for a new trailer with lq and was considering Featherlite. I would like to hear some opinions on the construction. After reading the "lost Wheels" I am really scared!

I wouldn't go by the one thread as a common occurence. Things do happen from time to time but I think this is rare. You should always check the lug nuts torque before a trip or at least once a month depending on how much you use the trailer. I wouldn't judge Featherlite by this at all.

IMO, they make a good trailer for your dollar. You can find dealers easily, very important when you leave home! The company doesn't take the money and run, they stand behind their products.
You can find horror stories on just about every brand if you go back in the old posts and dig. Things get very "hot" from time to time and we get a warning from the moderators, so I won't elaborate.
I can say the more you spend really has no relationship as to what quality you receive in other national brands.
