Currently there is a recall on certain Dometic brand two-door refrigerators manufactured between April 1997 and May 2003. To find out if your refrigerator falls within the recall, go to www.dometicusa.com. Click on the link on the left of that page. When you enter the model number and 8-digit serial number of your Dometic refrigerator, it'll tell you whether or not your refrigerator is affected.Considering the possible fire hazard, I thought it important to spread this news. I know of two affected refrigerators in Sundowner LQs and one in a fifth wheel camper.

The problem is a crack develops in the cooling system where the burner is and leaks all the coolant out and can cause a fire. For more info read here... http://escapees.infopop.cc/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/372602561/m/784104203...
