And the warranty is voided if over a 5% blend is used. But from what I hear, once my warranty runs out, I'd run 100% bio-diesel (or whatever the maximum is) if I could find it. Nobody has anything bad to say about bio-diesel, but is just a big unknown in the long haul, so the manufactures are covering their butts with the warranty clause IMHO.

I use a F350 but don't run Bio Dieselin it,Ford only recomends 5% blend.

Our local farm co-op has switched to this and this is all you can get. It is a 5% blend. We are running this on our 06 F-250 and F-350 trucks. No problems so far. Been running them on this for about three months so far. There is a Fed-Ex hub right down from this place and all the drivers fill up there. They claim to be getting better mileage with it.

I have three neighbors who went over the edge after the fuel prices jumps that came with Katrina. They started making their own Bio fuel from waste grease. They collect it from the local resturants and convert it some how. Two of them kicked the 3rd guy out after a while because he never seemed to have time to help with the processing of the grease. Little Red Hen syndrome. He was glad to use it, just no time to help make it.
They all three run Dodge trucks and they are all doing just fine. They learned their lessons about using it in cold weather. It gels much easier than diesel fuel. They start mixing it with diesel fuel when the temps get into the 50's and stop using it altogether when it gets down to mid 30's
None of them have had any mechanical problems with their trucks ( other than the gel problems)
