I'm looking at a trailer that has a "regular" door to the dressing room that I'd like to replace with a camper door with a screen.  Is that possible?  Looks like the openings are too different.  It's a nice trailer I'd like to finish off with a weekender package that all looks nice.  Any advice?  Costs?  Thanks!

Hi there... A new entry door can be very costly. You could add a roll up screen door at a reasonable price. It is called a screen-o-matic. I have one on one of my trailers and I love it. I like it better that the camper door with screen. Just a thought...

Good luck

I agree about the roll up screen door. I have one and it's really nice to not have it in the way when you don't want to use it. You just have to keep dirt out of the bottom track that it slides in.... pretty much the only downside to it.

I like it too, plus your original door probably has stronger hinges than the camper type door.

Do you have a web site or any further info on this screen? I have had no luck finding something useable, but i think it is a great idea and want to see if I can get one for my trailer.

Thanks!!!

I had mine installed at Whinny Cargo (site sponser). They could probably order you one and ship it to you.

Perfect, I sent them an email. Does anyone know what these cost (ballpark) for a standard dressing room door on a horse trailer?

Thanks!

Here are a few websites I came across after different word searches. There are no prices, although the retractable screen company has a dealer in my area, so I might check it out. Screen o matic never came up. These doors actually look pretty practical especially if you can keep the tracks clean! Now...if I can just get that trailer!!!12
