Is it possible to check the history on a used trailer - like you would do when buying  a used vehicle to check on prior accidents?  If so, can you tell me how to do this????

What should I look for on a used aluminum trailer that might indicate functional problems?

Location: Texas		About the only thing you can do is look at it, crawl under and look for repairs and stuff like that. I also think it's good to look at the tires assuming they aren't new to see if they are wearing evenly. Also driving along behind it while it's being towed might help you see if it's tracking straight.

Depending on age, just figure in new tires in to the price of a used trailer.  Lots of tread doesn't mean road worthy.
