Location: Alabama | My dressing room/LQ is 4'SW, 8'LW, and it is 6'wide. I need to pick out an overhead light for the floor space area. How do I decide how big of a light I need? I definitely don't want the area dim but then I don't want it so bright that I have to wear sunglasses either! 53 Is there some forumla to decide how much light is needed?
Right now I'm leaning toward a fluorescent light fixture from Home Depot that's a rather flat fixture and has nicely rounded corners. But the fixture comes in two different lengths and I don't which one to get. I'm not talking about the 4' fluorescent workshop type lights.
Any help deciding which fixture to get will be appreciated.
