Location: Northern IN. | Do I understand you right to say that it's a 1969? If that's the case it's probably long since gone. It was probably on a little metal tag that was riveted to the side of the trailer somewhere, maybe the tounge, maybe the lower part of the side of the trailer, but either way it has more than likely rusted off or has been knocked off one way or another. Even if it was stamped into some other part of the trailer (frame, floor crossmember, underside of tounge, etc.) it's more than likely unreadable due to rust and the elements. Good luck on your search, you may get some other opinions, but that's mine. Talk to y'all later... |

Location: Texas | I'm wondering if they even had to put a serial on them at that time.... might not have one. |

Location: Portage, IN | Itwas probably not even on the trailer. Vin numbers started in he 1950s, but were not required on vehicles until federally mandated in the early 1980s. Chances are since its a horse trailer, it was not thought of to have on on there. But if it is, it should be on the tounge, rivited to the drivers side. You will probably only have two holes left. If it was stamped it could be anywhere from 5 to 17 digits long as it was not federally mandated it did not have to be any one length. |

Location: Texas | I recall seeing one welded into an older trailer before too but that should be pretty obvious if it's there. |

Location: Missoula MT | On the title it has a serial number WT 7291. By that I thought that there should be a number on the trailer. Stan |
