Hey all- JUST got this trailer a few months back and "somehow" it had a dent/crease in the gravel guard above the hitch area. Looks like I took a turn too sharp and kissed it with the bumper of the truck? Tried to re-create how this happened- couldn't get the bumper anywhere near it- anyway- very bummed. This trailer is too new to have a boo boo! Called around to various "Fix-a-Dent" places for cars but none will work on trailers. Called one auto body place and he said will need to purchase a new gravel guard as trying to fix a dent in aluminum will make it worse?

Anyone have any experience/advice? This is a bumper-pull Logan XTR- since it is a gravel guard it seems non-brand specific- Appreciate the input! UGH!!!

Is this just a piece of flat aluminum plate that's curved around the front of the trailer? If so, you may be able to get it off (if held with rivets) and gently flaten the dent out or replace the whole piece if it can't be fixed. Aluminum is very soft so be gentle with it. If it's more eloborate than that it's hard to say without a picure or two.
