Location: Ponoka, Alberta | Does anybody out there have any experience, good or bad, with Merhow trailers? We are from Alberta, the closest dealer is in Oregon, so we can't easily get to look at one. Any and all information and opinions would be greatly appreciated. |

Location: Columbus, Ohio | I just sold my 1989 Verylite (2 horse Straight/L-ramp- 1740 lbs) for a 2 H slant with DR, and would have definately purchased another one- the 1989 had alot of wood in the butterfly doors, sidewall--etc... that is not the case in the newer ones. The only reason I didn't get a new one is the slant stalls weren't as long as the manuf. I ended up with-- looked at the Equistar with rumber floors- very nice. Didn't care for the alum. floor (sheet v. plank) but did notice the Merhow alum. floor is signif. thicker than F-lite. Have several friends with these as well. Repairs to the 1989 were mostly to the ramp/springs and wood as well as reinforcing wood divider my contortionist mare cracked while trying to turn around. Good luck. |

Location: Wisconsin | We are the newst Merhow dealer in Wisconsin and just came back from a factory tour. Very impressed! They've been building trailers for over 55 yrs...the longest in the biz... with a less than 1% warranty issue...that's great! You'll find strength and durability that you can count on should you decide to go w/ Merhow. When we were there we saw a 1974 Merhow in for refitting! Can you imagine?... the customer loved that old antique so much they had no intention of replacing w/ another brand...that's satisfaction! Check out what Mr Trailer has to say! |
