Slowly planning out my layout for my tiny tack room.  Thanks to all of you who responded to my previous post about my 2 ft short wall trailer.  I have talked to several around home about what to insulate trailer with.  What are your recommendations?

I have seen regular faced batts used with a R-8 rating and 3/4 to 2 inch styrofoam used

I just used the 1/2" foam insulation that you can get from the Home Depot and such. But I'm in Texas, so for your neck of the woods I would consider some a bit thicker. The foam insulation should work just fine though. Others have used the rolled insulation that looks like bubble wrap but I found that to be a bit pricey. i would stay away from the fiberglass type insulation. It would fit rather tight and eliminate the needed airspace the insulation needs. Although I have heard of folks using it as well. JMHO
