I know this one has been done 100 times and I've read and reread the posts but I just want to clarify...

If you are properly licensed in your state, are you OK to travel neighboring states?

The reason I ask is with this new trailer I'm getting, in SC I have the right license (class D - "Passenger vehicles and all non-commercial vehicles that do not exceed 26,000 pounds gross vehicle weight." scdmvonline.com). But for NC I'd need what they call a Class A license.

Any one have some light to shed here?

As long as you are legal in your state then you are legal in whatever other state you go in to.
