| I am looking at LQ trailers from 1992-1999. On average how long should the refriderator, AC/Heat tape, and water heater last? Thank you! |

Location: Danielsville Georgia | I just bought a 1998 Hart with 8 foot lq.It had a new fridge and microwave.Hot water works fine but the anorod in it was a pencil,it was only like $10.The not as cold as ambient strip in the ac works but is worthless.Ac works great as well as the generator(only had 40 hours on it) Just installed a new WAVE furnace as it didn't have one,Trailer was from mid Florida, guess it dosen't get cold there.Found it on this site. |

Location: Farson,Wyoming | My advice is spend the extra money to buy a trailer with a furnace or to install one. everyone i know who has heat strip hates it and it does not work real well and does not last very long. |

Location: In | I agree, I have had a trailer with just the heat strip and one with the furnace. THE FURNACE WINS HANDS DOWN !! I can use the furnace anywhere the heat strip could only be used in electric. What a waste of money that was. I love being self-contained I can now camp for half the price. |
