Any ideas on how to keep our trailers from being stolen? When ever mine is off my truck I use a hitch lock, but..of course, that may not keep someone from cutting off the lock. How about when our trailers are hooked to our trucks/RVs? What can we do to prevent folks from driving away with our trailers? Thanks in advance! <;] |

We also use a log chain threaded through the wheel's and padlocked. I always thought that was over kill, that the goose neck lock was enough. But I guess this goes to prove it's not. I really doubt if the log chain would stop a determined theft, but it might slow them down enough to discourage them. They'd have to get someone who could pick the padlock or a pair of bolt cutter. |

Thieves can even slip in a new coupler if the need arises. We're fortunate enough to live in a small town and know all the local cops and we have wonderful nosey neighbors that keep watch on all the coming and going around here! |
