Hydraulic jack?

When we bought our lq trailer it had an electric jack on it. Well it's not working and we've decided  to go with a hydraulic jack. Do we need one with a manual override? If we don't have that what do we do if it quits working? What brands are best and what do they cost? Thanks for any info.

I would want the manual override.   You never know when things can go wrong and this would be one of those cases where you be in a real mess with no jack.

Mine has a manual override, I have never seen one without it.

I saw a real cheap unit one time that did not have the override on it.  They only paid $250 for the whole unit though.  I guess you pay for what you get.
