Someone told me the chevy is missing a fuse?? anybody have any ideas? The Chevys with the towing package come from the factory with a wire harness and fuse in a bag. The wire harness is to connect a brake controller to the truck wiring. The fuse activates the aux circuit at the hitch connector. Another thing... The connector must match your trailer. Aux pin positions are not standard. |

| I have a 94 Trailet New Yorker and had interior lights that did not work. I have a 02 GMC Duramax. I took the trailer in for some other work, and told the guy about the lights. When I went to pick up the trailer, he said one of my fuses must be blown. He went under the hood, opened a fuse box and replaced an orange 40amp fuse. The lights worked. Apparently when I turned them on the first time, there was a little short which burned the fuse. The repair people cleaned the connections in the trailer and replaced my truck fuse and they work perfectly now. Jbsny |
