Endurance enthusiasts may be interested in checking out www.sfthorserace.com/theracehtm. They are applying for AERC sanction. Reading the logistics is mind boggling! We helped with the National Championships at Fort Valley, Virginia a few weeks ago. Anytime I need proof that I will be able to ride into at least my 70's, I will volunteer at an endurance event. There were plenty of folks who were not "spring chickens" competing in and completing the 100 miler!

Google The Great Santa Fe Horse Race. Thats the name of it.

I bought my MFT mare from a great lady who is in her 70's now and doing as many 100 milers as she can find. 70! it is the new 40!
