Location: North Carolina | A Featherlite 9408 BP 3 horse slant weighs 4800 pounds empty. If your trailer is steel, add 500 pounds. |

Yes 3' and bigger tires and axles probably do weigh at least a 1000#'s more
a good rule of thumb for aluminum trailers is about 250#'s per foot of box length.

Location: Southern New Mexico | Its a gooseneck. It just has a dressing/tackroom in it. You should have heard the people at the RV place I took it to when I had the AC installed. You want an ac in that? There's no where for a tv!! |

Location: Jacksonville,Fl. | if the 9408 weighs 4800lbs empty looks like we are both wrong! at 4800lbs divided by 17 = 282lbs per foot. use to work as a factory rep and most of the trailers we weighed averaged about 250lbs per foot of box length on an all aluminum trailer. |

Location: North Carolina | Good people ... I was wrong. The empty weight of a Featherlite 9408 three(3) horse BP slant is 3050 pounds. Here's my source: http://www.fiddlerstrailers.com/preowned/new_inventory-details.asp?dealershipid=1&stockno=6C091655 |
