![25](https://horsetrailerworld.com/forum/images/decorations/multiple/25.gif) Location: Corvallis, OR | Anyone have thoughts feelings and/or conjectures about where to ride in Oregon. I've done the beach thing and the camping thing a long time ago. Just curious if anyone has any fav spots they would like to share. Now that I have a new trailer and some time on the weekends, I would really like to take my horses camping etc. |

Location: Oregon Coast | you can go to the U.S Forest Service website follow the links to Oregon camping and then look from there for horse camps /trails. I know those are vague directions but if you play around you will find what I mean. We like going over to Central Oregon to ride but have also been down around the Rogue River from the Medford side. We live close enough to the coast that we have been sand blasted enough while riding there. |

![25](https://horsetrailerworld.com/forum/images/decorations/multiple/25.gif) ![25](https://horsetrailerworld.com/forum/images/decorations/multiple/25.gif) Location: Oregon | Hubby and I will be heading to Willow Praire Horse Camp over labor day weekend. Has 10 sites with 4-6 corrals per site, hand pump and water tanks for the stock. The camp has moderate use (except over the holidays, although sites 1 and 2 are still available!) and has lots of trails. You can get to the pacific crest trail from there, so the possibilities are limitless. You can book the site on www.reserveusa.com It is located in Southern Oregon off Hwy 140 between Medford and Klamath Falls. We'll be in site 10 if your coming, stop in and say hello. Colleen |

It is a real nice one and can handle long trailers. There are pit toilets and water there.Off 202 by Birkenfield. It is in the Clatsop State forest. Here bis a shot of one trail in the Eagle Caps in October. ![](http://us.f2.yahoofs.com/users/444882e0mb78b1974/3374scd/__sr_/4586scd.jpg?phYQI7EBT08t8RVF)

Location: Joseph Or | No there are not alot of people on the east side, but we are because we love it.......not to crowded YET! Just remember that if you travel to the farthest NE county you are not allowed to transport in hay,,,, don't want those noxious weeds. And remember if you are doing on overnight trip, that even in July and August our overnight temps can drop in the low 40 and high 30's.. And horses need to be allowed to rest for the elevations. |
