Location: North Carolina | And your question is? You have a Sundowner, you should know what you got for your money. Unless you want to start a flame war ... |

Location: Texas | This deal gets better all the time. My laptop is getting quite a following. We are in Ruidoso, NM. this weekend for the roping. I did see a Sundowner in the lot, but no Branderup. I will check out the Sundowner tommorow if he makes the cut and is still here and report back. |

Location: Lockport, Illinois | Sundowner gives a lot of trailers away for prizes at big shows, and also give a lot of trailers away to top trainers so the could advertise that the use a Sundowner, who do you think ultimately pays for all these trailers. U |

Location: MO in woods | We have 1999 Sundowner and Its still looks like NEW we do acid wash every orther year.Take good care of it also. This year we traded in our 2 horse 1973 Miley on new Al. 2 horse. We asked all dealers at Indiana Horse Fair for BEST PRICE to buy an WOW Sundowner was BEST price. There are top ones sorry to people who dont shop around an alot dealers are way over priced they delivered to IL 6 1/2 hours away for FREE an picke up old one sight unseen too.We checked out all an we too were surprised that Sundowner gave us best price an did all they could do sell us a trailer. My sister bought Brand new trailer at CCTR an had 3 major things wrong when thay got it home sad but true. |

Location: Texas | Well, I went out to check the Sundowner out, but he was gone. The guy parked next to him said it was a fancy rig with slide and all, and the interior was perfectly color coordinated with the new Sportinchassis that was pulling it.Two young cowboys are now leading the ropping. They pulled up in a white '92 Ford F250, 4X4, with a brown tailgate, pullin a 14' bumperpull stock trailer. The way these guys can rope, the rest of us might as well hit the road too, because I don't think they will do any worse tommorow. Sorry I couldn't give a full report on the Sundowner's advantages. |

I probably misunderstood your original post.
Are there specific questions that we can answer for you, either about Sundowners in particular or horse trailers in general ?
There is a LOT of stuff in this forum, but reading it all would take a while and you would read a lot ofstuff that is irrelevant.
I suggest you do a keyword search on "Sundowner" first to see what other threads already exist about them.

Location: Western WA | I am looking at a 2000 Sundowner w/ LQ as my possible first LQ trailer. Looks like a couple of people on this post have models around that age. Can you tell me what maintenance or repairs you have had to do to the trailer so far? I am mainly interested in big ticket issues like furnace, water pump, refrigerator, etc. but any small quirky things I should check out on a used trailer before I buy would be appreciated also.
