Not sure about weight of trailer and truck, but will check. What's your advice? Thanks all.

Short answer ... Duramax 3/4 T will handle a NON-LQ Sundowner 3 horse Valulite GN well.

We have a 3h gn 10' LQ, weighs about 10k) We have no problem at all pulling. Don't even know it's behind us. 2003 Duramax 2500 HD longbed. We average 13 mpg towing and 20 empty. Great truck.

I have a 2004 chevy 2500 duramax/allison.  I used to pull a sundowner 4H 16' sw with a 12' slide.  It was about 15K and pulled like a dream.  The only issue I had was the pin weight but I doubt that you have the same issue with that trailer.  You won't even know that it is behind you.  There was way more than once where I forgot that I had my trailer behind me.

You might be happier if you get airbags installed though (I think mine were about $400 installed).  If the back end seems a little loosy goosy then airbags will help that out quite a bit.  My pin weight was about 5K and I really needed them.  Now I have a F550 and am much happier.

Later,

Chad
