Location: Catoctin Mtn, Maryland | I've been looking for a reasonably priced portable gas grill to take with us on camping trips. There's a zillion out there. All different sizes, weights, prices etc. Some grill great, others don't, some are too heavy, some aren't worth the money, some fall apart, etc. Some will do this and won't do that....good grief, I'm going nuts here. I don't feel like going into major dept for a darn grill, but want one that does a good job in grilling a steak or two. Does anyone have a table top one? I was wondering, do the table top ones get too hot to put them on a table? So many questions........If we didn't have so many "burn" bans going on here, I'd cook a steak over a campfire and forget it. So what do you fellow campers recommend? Opinions welcomed and needed. Thanks |

Location: Memphis, TN | I also prefer a charcoal or wood fire but sometimes ya just cant do that....so we have been using a Coleman #9922-700 for the past year. Propane, grill on one side and stove eye on the other. We like it and it is under $75. Its about 2ft wide and 1 ft deep....anyway it fits in a cabinet in the trailer when not in use so its easy to have on-board. |

Location: Tennessee | http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=productDetail&productId=41242-46487-GAT-1913&lpage=none Here's a link to the best grill I've found. I know 3 people now with this one. You can easily cook for 6, maybe more. Folds up compactly but is heavy duty. You can either use the little cyclinder propane or buy an adapter for about $10 to use a regular tank. |

Location: Memphis, TN | I have a small folding aluminumn table that I setup on. They make a set of legs or a little stand that will attach but I did not buy them, already had the table. |

Location: White Mills, Ky. | Have you thought about a George Foreman type grill? We like to use ours...it's easy to set up and use and for clean up all you have to do is wait for it to cool and wipe it with a paper towel. Just a thought........RIDE ON! |

Location: KS | I've been using a portable one from Walmart for the past 5 years and it does a good job. Around $30 It has legs, so it can go on table on ground. |

Location: Home of Wild Turkey Whiskey | I bought a weber table top model and it does a fine job, you can get a stand for it but I use it on top of the table. I have the adapter to use the big tanks. |

Location: Missouri | We use a Coleman roadtrip grill. It folds up and has a handle and is on wheels so you can move it around real easily. It runs off of the small bottles and it also has a griddle you can use to cook eggs and bacon. We got it at Bass Pro. |

Location: Iowa | There are many projects for grilling for a bonfire, but be sure to get one that allows you to adjust the height like this https://bestoutdooritems.com/best-campfire-grill/ Without height adjustment, it is not possible to conveniently adjust the temperature. |
