Hello all

I am researching the purchase of a new clipper for my 4 horses.  I want to buy a rechargeable one because I am tired of being restricted by the cord on the the electric ones.  I will not be doing body clipping, just bridle path, ears, face and feet. I would like to hear some suggestions from other folks that have used or owned a rechargeable clipper.  Any recommendations?   Thanks....

I use the Wahl/Moser rechargeables and they are wonderful. My horse seems a little less goosey about clipping without the cord hanging around her face too. the really nice part is you can throw them in your tack box and use them at shows without having to find electricity. I went one whole show season on one charge with mine.

My wife got a pair for Xmas, can't remember what brand they are, but she likes them. I've always used sissors (trimming shears) for clipping of bridle paths and such.

The Oster A-5 Power Pro are awesome.   Not all that lightweight, but it only takes a minute to trim bridlepaths and faces etc.

I recently purchased a Wahl Chromado, cordless or corded, rechargeable. After years of messed up trims with scissors 37 I am thrilled with the results. Our horses never even blinked at the new clippers, they are sooo quiet! Worth every penny.32

I bought rech one for dogs smaller but great for horses ears muzzle bridle path an lasted 3 or 4 years already too.Never used them on dog but even our weanlings do well an usually get them to settle down an let me clip them.Have 2 costly ones electric than noisy an no one horse will stand for that noise since I got cordless one.Best luck on your find.
