Location: Vero Beach Fl | Just bought the trailer and it has surface rust on the frame. Should we go ahead and pull the floor boards up and treat the cross rails with some type of rust treatment. Any suggestions would be appreciated on how to prevent further rust and what to do to stop the present rust. |

Location: sc | i did/would, how hard depends on the trailer. mine were just screwed down, some have lips, overhangs, etc. that may make it a little more time consuming. |

Location: MO | I'd pull up one board, just to check. But, plan on pulling 'em all. Rust somewhere usually means rust everywhere. Get it now before it's a real problem. You can also check out the condition of the floor boards while you're at it. |
