Location: Shawnee, Oklahoma | I sell Platinum Trailers, so I'm biased, but I think my next trailer will be the reverse slant load. I have several friends who own one and will never go back to a forward ride trailer. You have to go 7'6" tall with them to be able to side load with the ramp. I would advise going with the double side doors for more loading and unloading area. You will LOVE the rear tack. Another piece of advice is to add 1 ft. to the rear tack, if you can handle the extra length. It won't cost that much, and you'll have that much more storage area. If you haul a lot, your horses will arrive fresher just because they will be using their rear end for balance instead of the front end, and that puts less stress on them, and less fatigue. That's the biggest advantage besides the huge rear tack. Platinum makes the best reverse load trailer on the market (remember, I said I was biased). You will love it, and they have GREAT resale. |
