Location: Mount Airy, NC | I am in the market to buy a new trailer, but I wanted to get some input about what I can haul and be SAFE. I recently purchase a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500, SLT, Quad Cab 4x4. I would really like to buy a two horse gooseneck with a dressing room, but is this too much for this truck? It has a 5.9L engine, 3.92 axle ratio and the transmission cooler as well. If it is what would be the ideal trailer type for this vehicle? Before I had a 3/4 ton Chevy and a bumper pull steel trailer, but I am trying to upgrade things. Any input on this would be most helpful. |

Just remeber what the previous post said about weight and that the more enclosed the trailer, the more it will weigh. Happy trailer shopping! |
