Location: The Great Plains | What do you prefere. Rear or mid. We have a mid tack and i personaly love it. with it the full back opens up for easier loading. I also like the location better cause it is more in the middle. unless you get tied to the other side of the trailer lol but it still ok.. i also like the swing out saddle racks and the udesign tack system our trailer has in it. We have a 06 Circle J Riata
Well anywaz just thought this would be a good descusion topic |

Location: Michigan | Do both and have the best of both worlds. With all the crap we stuff in our trailers for our 4-legged equine companions you can never have too much storage space. And what's another couple of feet added to the length of your trailer? |

Location: Rocky Mount N.C. | We got both. Generator, water tank, brooms, forks, etc in rear-tack. All the high dollar leather goods and show clothing in the mid-tack with plenty of room to get dressed. The leather stuff doesn't get moldy like it does in the rear-tack, mid-tack stays dryer and has heat and A/C along with the front living area. The sometimes much needed porta-pottie is also in the mid-tack. Front dressing room has recliner, microwave, fridge, etc. This stays clean because the mid-tack is used for dressing and undressing at the shows, the mud room you might call it. Got a door from the "living area" to the mid-tack, and a door from mid-tack to horse area. Works good for us. |

Location: Oregon | It would depend on my trailer. I am already 26' on the floor. Adding the midtack would make a difference in length on my trailer, so I opted for one without it. Now if I had a smaller trailer, yes, I would like both. |

Location: Oregon | Yes, I just have a rear tack. It is big enough for 4 saddles and their pads, blankets, halters and bridles, grooming equipment and I even have a corner water tank in it. There is a lot in there, can't really fit any more big items in there. I have one of those door organizers hanging up on one of the "walls" that has my grooming equipment in it. I also have a blanket bar on the door. |

Location: El Paso, Texas | I have the mid tack (water tight) with swing out saddle rack, and feed mangers with storage, I haul 5 bales of hay where the rear tack would be, works great for me. Plenty of storage |
