Wanting to get a 3 Horse Slant with a dressing room but do not know what trailers can hold up to the weather in Florida. There seem to be alot of rust buckets here for sale so I would like to know what trailers can really withstand the elements. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Also will be pulling the trailer with a Tahoe which I think has a 350 in it so it should be able to handle most bumper pulls.

All Aluminum trailer is the way to go if the trailer is outside all the time as steel and alum/steel will rust. However, the better made trailers will hold up longer.

Check your book to see what the weight rating is for your Tahoe to make sure.  The Tahoe may be short on wheelbase so you do need to check that out and you should get the weight distributing hitch, sway bars, and brake controller.

A 3 horse alum trailer will weigh anywhere from 2500 to 4000 lbs, add 3 horses and you're up to 6000 - 7500 lbs (counting tack, hay, etc).

Good luck

Having seen lots of trailers that live in Florida I'd say Aluminum, no steel.  Use a cover that breathes and wax it.
