Location: buffao, ny | I tried to find the last post on this subject but couldnt, so I'll write my own. I have an 83 Hartman 2H bumper pull. It currently has 7.00-15LT load range C on it. I am wondering if I can replace them with something a little more standard, I am having trouble finding them in this size. I have found some Goodyear Marathon Radials listed as Trailer Use Only at the walmart, wondering what size I will need. How can I convert that into 225/75/15 terms? Or should I stick with the size thats on there now? Also, do you recommend any brands? I am cost conscience without sacrificing safety. I was hoping to spend about $80-95/tire. |

Location: Iowa | I have heard good things about these trailer tires on the RV forums, and someone on this forum told me they wore like iron. I'm thinking of tryinhg them myself, since the price is so good. Here is a link to their 7.0/15 tires. They are 8 ply, which is the equivalent of Load Range D tires.

You can also go with the 225/75/15s...they should fit the same 15" rim as your current tires.

I can't attest to the tires myself...since I've never used them...but am thinking about it. But folks who have used them have been generally pleased with them...and they evidently are used by a lot of the OEM trailer companies.
PS: Here is another good place to get value tires over the web...with these guys, shipping and handling is free. Another option, anyway. Here is some more 7.00 15s:

Location: Columbia, TN | I would switch over to radials and get away from the bias tires safer and don't gap up as bad and ride smother on your horse. |
