Location: The Land of Ahs | Here's their website in case you haven't seen it. Check out the standard features list. http://www.silver-star-trailers.com/1_TheTrailers.html We searched several sites, on-line and on-foot, for a 3 horse alum with small LQ and definitely wanted the horse area fully insulated. Two Star Lites came up in our price range and we chose the one with the larger LQ, a five-year old trailer that we are very happy with. It is holding up well and pulls great. The insulated horse area has definitely proved it's worth. |

Location: The Land of Ahs | I forgot to mention something. Our trailer came with large escape windows on both sides of the gooseneck, something I hadn't even thought about but really appreciate now. And I know the horse tie rings are secure because my 1250# mare has tried them on several occasions! |

Location: Newton, NJ | I absolutely agree with Dawnya... I have a 2H slant with a 3 1/2 ft short wall DR. The price of the trailer included lots of things that other manufacturers considered extra - like a pass thru door, bigger tires, heavier axles, insulation. I'm not what you'd call a "heavy duty" hauler - I just do some trail riding and camping for my own pleasure, but I sure like the way the trailer tows behind my GMC 1500 p/u. |
