Location: Cherokee, Ia | If you're talking about Brushy Creek Park outside of Fort Dodge, it's a very nice equestrian camping park. Has a north and south camping area for horse trailers, with/without electrical. Nice showerhouse. Riding is really pretty good for Iowa. About 50-60 miles of trails, pretty good hills in spots,bridges to cross, lots of trees. One thing,they are dirt trails, so if it rains much, they CLOSE them. Good roads to get there, just off Hwy.20 between Webster City and Ft. Dodge. They are adding more camping sites and improving it every year. Good fishing too. Hope this helps! |
