Location: michigan | I don't think one answer your question as posed. How do you objectively discover "the best"? If you want opinons based on experiences, then sure, we can do that.

Location: michigan | I don't think you can go wrong with a Featherlite,Sooner or Exiss but there are many more out there. I see these brands a lot at stock yards- these are guys who want a good, solid trailer. Go by a stock yard someday and see what these guys are pulling. |

I am not sure if this is the correct terminology, but there are raised grooves in the floor to provide better traction to actual livestock. If you are intending on hauling a comination of horses and cattle, you might want to look into the flooring system. We have a friend that has a sooner stock trailer, and I have seen there horses have difficulty getting their footing when tied in these trailers that have this type flooring. If I was going to buy a strictly stock trailer which meant I had to haul cattle, I would consider the Gooseneck brand. They are well constructed and their doors and latches are made to handle a large amount of pressure. Everyone knows a load of cattle can put a strain on the toughest of hinges and doors. These trailers are made to handle heavy weight shifting loads of livestock. I guess it depends what all you want to haul in it. |

Location: USA | What do you want in a trailer, how much do what to spend? I'm sure there are many good brands out there; I would look for the best value for the money. Deal with a reputable dealer who provides service, look at warranties, check the ease of how the gates release. My opinion in your area, I would consider the Exiss trailer, I know these trailers, they have one of the best warranties (3 years on most everything and 7 years on the structure). Look at the framing; Exiss has 4" I-Beams under the floor which are 12" on center, also they have 7,000 lb axles standard. Hope that helps with your decision, good luck.

| Correct. For the money the Exiss STK can't be beat. Its 7/3 warranty is awsome, they have one of the stoutest floors in the industry, and are a sharp looking trailer! Not sure what size your looking for but here is a good deal on a 24fter- http://www.horsetrailerworld.com/home/trailerdetail.asp?ID=69387 |
