Location: Portland, OR | All you folks who have done your own LQ's...
Just about to start on mine...
Hoping to do as much as possible myself.
I've never installed anything in a trailer or car but have
done some home construction...so, hoping it won't be too different.
Trying to think everything
through before drilling holes, etc.
Assuming electrical goes in first (plan to have an RV electrician do this),
then:
tanks
insulation
plumbing
Is there anything that would be smart to do before the electrician starts?
Any insight/advice, things you wish you'd done differently?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Location: Henderson, TN 38340 | The first thing to do is to be sure of what your plan is. How are you going to use the living quarters. When I did my camper, I got some big cardboard boxes and made my cabinets, closet, Etc. I then located, to size, the microwave, sink, Etc. This allowed me and my wife to get a feel for what it would resemble when completed. Cardboard and packing tape are easy to change. Visit my web site for the complete process. http://home.earthlink.net/~dheismann/ I hope that this helps Good luck, let me know if you have any questions. Turfa |
