For sure!!!!...But lets see if a 1 ton dually dies going up a steep hill pulling a 4 horse w/living quarters.....no more power steering or brakes...surge type brakes wouldn't work at all .. Electric trailer brakes(drum type) are weak in reverse...A tow vehicle with disc are a lot better than drum but would take some real pedal pressure!...will an inertia controller work in reverse? (manual will...grab it first) You sure wouldn't want to allow any speed to build !! or You also would be underbraked....I think the gal said S**T....... I think it was in europe and surge are common.....so really no brakes in reverse! Something for the surge brake people to remember. |
