| I would love to get some idea. I have a 4 foot short wall. I would ideas as to what is the lightest materials I can use for the insulations to the marterial i can put on the ceilings and walls. I would need a pump, a shower, hot water heater, and water tank.. Can you tell me what would work best. Can I get a electric stove for my trailer. If I have left out anything please fill me In.. |

| While I agree a shower is a wonderful thing to have,in a 4ft short wall it's going to take up most of your space. As far as stove goes, we went with combination microwave/convection oven. We found this to be an awesome choice. Were you going to have a fridge? Another great feature we got was a Polar Aire Fan. I can recommend a great conversion company in southern Missouri if you change your mind about diy! |

| Thanks guys for all the wonderful ideas.. Todd I will be looking at your site for great ideas.. Thanks for taking the time to post your site. My plan is to make my shower out of the shower boards and fix the corner up. Can anyone tell me where and the best pump for the shower and sink.. |

Location: Lone Oak, Tx | OK I've added up the recipts in my truck. Now mind you I have a few more at the house and a few in the trailer, but I know they are not for terribly much. And I'm sure I have misplaced a few but the ones I have have totalled up to just shy of $1200. 00. That's actually less than what I thought it would come to. Mind you, I still have a bit more to do and a few appliances to buy but I may get to come out this under $2000.00. Imaging that. This also does not include all the time spent either. I started this project in January and have worked a little at a time, mostly on the weekends.

Location: Ontario - east of TO | I think I'm in for about $800 so far with flooring, fabrics and some trim and such left to buy. I figure I'll be well under $2000, but mine will not have electric hook up or running water. I have the coleman water heater instead and it has a built in pump, and I will hook up battery power later on to run a Cooler - the kind that plugs into the cig lighter. My trailer will not get used a ton for camping so i wanted to use things I could use in other places. Like the cooler - we use it when on non horsey trips in the tracker.... great for keeping food cool and dry (no ice). I'm also using a coleman stove instead of a built in one so we can use it without the trailer. Also the camping we do do tends to be rough so no hook ups, so I wanted it to be self sufficent. I think I'll be using a portable power source for now with the cooler. I'll hopefully get more pictures up of my trailer soon.... things are happening fast now that all the insulating and everything is done. |
