Location: Decatur, Texas | Miley has been around a long time since being built back in the 60's to 80's. The name trademark must have been assumed by someone else after expiration of the time limit, because the Feds confiscated all of the assets and properties of the owner, Rex Cauble, for dealing drugs. This included his Cutter Bill Western Wear stores as well as his huge showplace ranch in North Texas. Wonder if you can still buy a Miley with a lid of Acapulco gold stashed away in the tack compartment? |

Location: Decatur, Texas | Mr. Trailer- never used it, never will. Just being a little condescending on Mr. Cauble. I was a volunteer Boy Scout leader when he was "busted" for the drug charges. He was the largest benefactor in our district, a patron saint. Sure made us feel like he was being somewhat hyppocritical supporting youth qualities while donating drug money. Anyway, I wish you the best with the resumption of the Miley brand. They do appear to be a nice trailer. |

Location: St.George, UT | We had several of the New Mileys' at Horse Expo in Sacramento. We sold out of them at the show and have sold several more from the show. Very nice starter trailer, check out the floor if anyone gets a chance (very impressive)! |

Location: Odenville, Alabama | I pulled a 1958 model Miley trailer until 1996. My parents bought this trailer used when I was 17 years old. (i'm 47 now yeesh!), It sat idle for about 11 years, and then I had it "restored" in 91. We lovingly gave it the name "Beast", due to the shape it was in after pulling it out of the shed. It looked great after paint, new tires, floor, etc. Best of all, I've never had a better pulling trailer EVER!!! I sold it in 1996 for $1,500 which my mother said was $1,000 more than they paid in 1974. I sometimes wish I still had it . . . Maybe a yard ornament???? NOT!! Nancy |
