Both very good trailers - hard to go wrong with either. I found Kiefer to be pretty high quality, good welds, and solid construction. So I bought one - Genesis 440 LQ. Spot welded? Where did you see that? Mine sure as heck isn't spot welded... Some Kiefer marketing material - info about the floors (extruded , I-beam support, etc). http://www.kieferbuiltinc.com/4ways.htm Check the warranty facts. Kiefer's warranty is 3 years leak proof (nice), 3 years bumper to hitch, and 8 years structural. Exiss warranty - from the web site: "Exiss has one of the best warranties in the business. Our Event trailers come with a three-year limited/seven-year structural warranty. Our Sport trailers come with a one-year limited/five-year structural warranty, while our Mach 10 trailers come with a one-year limited/three-year structural warranty." Read the marketing material on each, get the facts, check out the trailers thoroughly and talk to folks who have owned both. LAXPatrick
