| Has anyone had any luck replacing the fixed glass pane on the slider window? Mine was shattered and really am not looking to buy whole window (expensive). I am very handy so hopefully I can get some insight into this. |

Location: Harrisburg, OR | You should be able to get a new piece cut at a local glass shop. Sometimes they require you to take the window out and bring to them.

Location: Baker, FL | Agree. We had ours replaced at a local glass shop. Be sure to get tempered glass. |

Location: USA | If you're comfortable with DIY projects, replacing a fixed glass pane on a slider window can be manageable. First, you’ll need to carefully remove the broken glass and measure the dimensions of the frame. Then, order a replacement glass pane from a local glass shop or online. Be sure to use the same thickness and type of glass as the original. Once you have the new pane, you can install it by securing it with the appropriate glazing material or adhesive. If you’re unsure about any step, you might want to consult with a professional to ensure you’re on the right track. Good luck with your project!
