Location: California | Just wanted to thank posters here for trailer guidance and reference recommendations. Now the proud owner of new Hart Medallion 2 horse slant load bumper pull ---- and my Landcruiser is equipped with a Prodigy brake controller, Class 3 hitch with weight distribution and anti sway bars! Turns out my LC came with factory installed Transmission Cooler --- but I never had need to look before this! Maiden voyage from southern California dealer took me up and over the San Bernardino Mountains past Big Bear Lake with hairpin turns and multiple opportunities to perfect my “turn-out” technique. Trailer pulled like a dream! My daughter and I start traveling with her horse this weekend to shows for the next several weeks so trailer will not be gathering any moss. Can’t tell you what a relief it is to know we have a safe and sane solution for our traveling needs. Thanks again!!! |

Location: Denver Colorado | Those Medallions do tow nice. I'm used several of them in vehicle reviews. Out next month I use one with a Infinity QX56. I like that, the "undertrucked club" I'll have to build a website, get national sponsors like Volvo, Brenderup and BMW, have a magazine, monthly meetings. Then we'll get a "dually diesel club". My HemiTruckClub.com is having it's second annual rally in Texas next week. I've got to ice down my Stetson and find some shorts that match my Tony Lamas. I guess June is better than August. I melt easy. This month we've had alot of rain and I turned on the heat at night 4 times. In July I'll turn on the AC. |

It made the news here. Of course we got snow this year (in S TX)for Christmas. The first time in almost 20yrs in our town. I think I have more pictures of the snow than I do of the kids opening Christmas presents. My young horses were scared of it. |

Location: Denver Colorado | Yeah it's a strange year. Spring can be anything. We get most of our snow in Denver in March and April and it's melted in a couple of days. In spring I've seen rain, snow, hail and a tornado all in the same day. We do schedule snow for Monday night football as often as we can. |

Location: Southern New Mexico | How do you schedule it? I'd like to do that so we could have snow about once a year. Of course if we are able to permantly move to NM it may not be a problem. But in S. TX...... once every 20 yrs or so seems to be the norm. |

Location: Elizabethton, TN | Hey, could use a little input from people who know more than me. I am looking at 2 different trailer that I am interested in. 1. 1994 Trail-Et- 3horse Gooseneck, aluminum skin with steel frame, great condition- Price $7000 2 2001 Adam 3horse Gooseneck, all aluminum, frame and skin, great condition also- Price $10,000. Which do you think the better deal is? Everything else equal? I do not know much about trailers, don't know which will hold resale value better, which one is built better, etc. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and God Bless. Steve |
