Location: Va | If I were to by a Silverstar trailer would there be a problem getting repairs since this company is no longer operational? has anyone had any problems with parts/repairs? |

Location: North Carolina | Welcome to the forum... Trailers are not complex machines. The only problem you'll have is replacing damaged unique parts like windows, doors, some hardware. If you don't insist on exact replacements, you'll not have issues. Brakes, wheels, lights are standard parts and replacements readily available. |

| What Hoss said. Other than proprietory extrusions like running boards and side slats, most everything else is still as available as it ever was, no matter if the mfg is still around or not. And actually, my friend couldn't get running board material last month for a 20 year old trailer, from a mfg that is still around even. So might not matter if they are around. |

| I don't know if I am doing this correctly or not, but I just got a 1998 3h gooseneck Silver Star. Many years ago I had a 1996 and put many miles on it.
It was a great little trailer. I've been told you can get many parts from Sundowner of Tx. |

Also does yours have a LQ? How are you liking the trailer? |

Location: White Pine, TN | Good rule of thumb is 250#/floor length for a 7 wide. Add 15% for 8 wide. Add 250/ft for LQ, add 250 lbs for slide. Rough but pretty close. |
