| We are looking to shift from hauling a 2 horse BP with a V10 Excursion, to a new 450 or 550 with a truck camper. The truck campers extend several feet behind the bed, so would use an extension hitch. Anyone have experience hauling horses with a truck camper? We are concerned the extension and hitch are going to drag on steep driveways. Welcome any advice and comments. | |

| Following! I am also looking at this setup and would appreciate advice. My camper extends 18" past the bed, but not past the tailgate. | |
