Location: Tennessee | I am using a 4.3 cubic foot refrigerator in my DIY LQ. Even at that I have to take a separate cooler just for drinks. Some day I will buy a new aluminum trailer and let someone else do the conversion. So, even though I love my current trailer I still like to look. I am flabbergasted that $30K to $50K trailers will put in a small 3' refrigerator. I would not even look at one. My question is: What is your preferred size refrigerator for the kind of camping you do and how long do you usually camp? |

Location: Lone Oak, Tx | We're putting in a 2.7 cu ft. fridge. Wife found a nice stainless steel at Lowes for $100.00. It's the perfect size for a camp trip or the weekend barrel race.

Location: Kaufman, Texas | My wife had two prerequisites for LQs when we were looking - a large refrigerator (6 cf) and a large shower. The 6 cf refrig has a large freezer area for meat and ice cream (her favorite). We have room to store food for a week plus lots of beer (my favorite). |

Location: Tipton, IN | We have a 4.0 cu.ft. in the LQ and an 8.0 cu.ft in the motorhome. I love having freezer space for frozen goods. And plenty of room for pop, milk, water, and beer in the 8.0. |

Location: The Land of Ahs | While I was not looking for ones this large, the 6.0 cu ft frig and separate 3.0 cu ft freezer in my 99 Star Lite were a nice surprise. I'm really glad now since hauling for several days at a time, I have room for ice, food and drinks. The freezer is so handy, take plenty of food, just in case, and if you don't need it, return it frozen to my home freezer. Coolers and ice are a hassle, the temp is always iffy and salmonella is not a welcome guest in my camp!!
