Location: Corsicana, Texas |  I just purchased a1994 Sooner 3HS w/2' SW DR, RT, Drop downs on head and bus windows on hip and rear. This trailer has no dents or dings. However, there is some corrosion on the MIDDLE of the floor (horse area)(there are 2 areas about 1/2" in size that corroded through the aluminum). There are a few other areas that are pitted. This area does not appear to be weak and the undercarriage is clean. What can be done to stop the corrosion? Should I have a new floor put in the trailer or can I get by with having that area of the trailer floor replaced? The rest of the floor is in great shape even the sides. I guess the previous owners never took the mats out to clean the floor as it was quiet a job! I gave $7,500.00 for this trailer...is that too much?
