Location: Florence, SC | For the past sereval years, my family has gone to a pair of rides in the Greenwood, SC area. They were benefit rides for the Shriners Hospital. We really look forward to these rides every year and I have been waiting anxiously to get the flyer about the dates for the rides...but this year the flyer annouced that the organizing group had to cancel the rides b/c of high insurance premiums. Does anyone know anything about this or knows of insurance companies willing to insure rides that are not sponsered by saddle clubs? They were asking for suggestions on this matter so that hopefully they could run the benefit rides again next spring.
