Spent yesterday getting plywood subfloor cut and fitted to install.

Today the metal beams got ground off, rust treated, and painted with Zero Rust.

Pictures attached...  Tomorrow the plywood will get coated with asphalt emulsion and then the subfloor will go in and be done!

We decided to install foam board and then a top layer of plywood, as there is plenty of depth in the frame of our trailer for a fully insulated floor.

Location: Covington, Louisiana		A question just out of curiosity. Are you using pressure treated plywood for the bottom layer of your floor? I'm in the process of replacing the floor in the tack room area of my trailer and am trying to decide on the best material to use. Thanks

I couldn't find decent looking pressure treated plywood, so no, we are installing regular exterior rated plywood that we are coating with asphalt emulsion.

Location: Covington, Louisiana		Michelle Thanks for your reply. Since mine is only a small (6' X 8') dressing room, and appearance and insultaion are not as much a concern, I will probably use two layers of 3/4" Pressure treated plywood with a sheet vinyl floor covering on top. Thanks again Russ
